Half Dead plays around half Dead songs -- songs that were either written by members of the Grateful Dead, or covered live by them. The other half is a always a suprise... Acoustic, electric, funk, folk, rock, blues, pop, soul, ... all held together by some jam. The band consists of Gary Beckwith (guitar, vocals), Paul Butler (bass, vocals), Bob Greenlese (drums, vocals), Jason Antkowiak (keyboards, vocals). There are often guest musicians sitting in for a song or few. Half Dead has a solar-powered stage that can be brought just about anywhere and they perform most of their shows on solar power.
